Camp Brain Power is one of SPSF’s Early Learning Equal Start key initiatives to help all students read Grade 3 level by Grade 3.
Camp Brain Power is a one-week, full-day summer camp that focuses on literacy, physical movement, engagement, and well-being for the students of Saskatoon Public Schools (SPS).
Held in August, the camps help to ensure students enter school in the fall with confidence and renewed enthusiasm. Camp Brain Power is free of charge to all attendees, and breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided to all campers.
In 2024, SPSF hosted nearly 500 camp attendees from 44 SPS Schools.
