Hope Project

Hope Project’s purpose is to provide equitable student well-being initiatives in communities across Saskatoon.

The Circus Arts initiative creates an optimal environment for young people of all backgrounds and abilities to develop positive self-concept, physical literacy, perseverance, and valuable teamwork skills. This creates a foundation of physical, mental, and social skills that translates beyond the school-setting and into everyday life.

Hugo Alvarado Community Art Project

In 2017, Saskatoon artist Hugo Alvarado helped raise funds for student art kits. Soon an art club and an art room were formed at King George School and local artists began leading art classes. Today funds are being raised to expand the art project to other elementary schools to allow more students to benefit from this creative partnership.
