Background
SPSF packages and delivers Cheer Crates to families during school breaks. When schools close, many of our students are left without the valuable supports that they receive during the school day. Some students receive their only food at school through the nutrition programs.
On average, 4000 breakfasts, snacks, and lunches are served daily in 18 Saskatoon Public Schools.
All Canpotex Cheer Crates consist of healthy food including dairy products, eggs, bread, fresh produce, and dry goods, in addition to books, hygiene products, warm items, and fun activities for the family.
