Education Programs Administrator (Summer Position)

Term: June 29 – August 28, 2026
Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Thursday)
Rate of Pay: $17.78 per hour
Location: Saskatoon, SK


Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation (SPSF) is hiring an Education Programs Administrator for the summer 2026 season. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in non-profit management, student programming, and digital transformation. You will support our core team in delivering impactful programs for underserved children and help strengthen our organizational data systems.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Administrative support and coverage for SPSF staff where required.
  • Assisting the Camp Brain Power Coordinator with camp duties as assigned.
  • Available full time for one week in August (August 10- 14, 2026) to support Camp Brain Power, including organizing resources, assisting instructors and volunteers, supporting students, and completing other tasks as assigned. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, as Camp Brain Power takes place in multiple schools across Saskatoon.
  • Preparing internal communications (draft simple how-to guides, checklists, and onboarding materials etc.) and process documentation to strengthen organizational workflow and support responsible AI use.
  • Support data migration tasks and maintain Blackbaud database records.
  • Assist with planning SPSF fall events, including ConnectHer and All In Day.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience or knowledge of working with youth.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong oral and written communications.
  • Willingness to take initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with direction from SPSF staff.
  • Comfortable meeting and working with people of all ages.

Applicants Must Be:

  • Be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
  • Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the job. *International Students are not eligible.
  • Be legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, as this role requires travel to multiple school sites across Saskatoon.
