The Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation (SPSF) is now planning it’s fourth round of Cheer Crates to be delivered to 1,000 Saskatoon families in need in December. We know that school breaks can be hard on some students and families and we want to continue to support them with nutritious food, family activities, hygiene items and books during this period of school closure.
We are excited to announce that the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre has once again partnered with us to ensure all families receive both perishable and non-perishable food items. The Saskatoon Kinsmen Foundation has committed dollars to help purchase items and Minhas Sask has provided us with hand sanitizer for each Cheer Crate. These community organizations and businesses are an important part of the success of this campaign and we are grateful for their support.
Saskatoon Public Schools principals and teachers identify families within their schools that would benefit from receiving a Cheer Crate. Families may also contact SPSF directly.
