Hugo Alvarado Community Art Project

In 2017, Saskatoon artist Hugo Alvarado helped raise funds for student art kits. Soon an art club and an art room were formed at King George School and local artists began leading art classes. Today funds are being raised to expand the art project to other elementary schools to allow more students to benefit from this creative partnership.

The alumni scholarship program has been in place for over 35 years and was led in part by the late Kelly Bowers.
