By engaging with local businesses and our community, Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation is able to celebrate and support public schools through programming, campaigns, special projects and grants. We supplement existing budgets and help schools expand beyond their core offerings.
Over 1000 Cheer Crates were packaged & delivered in May, June and September
Healthy Active Schools
With the closure of schools due to COVID-19, many of our students and families lost access to support, materials and supplies they count on throughout the school year. Our Cheer Crates were developed to provide essential support to families in need as well as cheer and excitement for children missing the day to day activities at school.
The contents of the Cheer Crates were generously donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals like you, making it possible for us to reach over 1500 families in 34 Saskatoon Public Schools.
Our goal with this campaign is to help young learners achieve 100% Grade 3 Level Literacy by Grade 3.
Early Learning Equal Start
We are working towards raising $20 million above and beyond government funding for students needing support to reach key literacy milestones. Our goal with this campaign is to help young learners achieve 100% Grade 3 Level Literacy by Grade 3.
Saskatchewan students were ranked among the lowest in reading compared to other provinces. We want to become a leader in early literacy programming by 2026, giving students the opportunity to succeed.
